Our industry offers tremendous potential for bright graduates who are keen to make a career in the fields of civil engineering and design, transportation planning and development and environmental science. Our Graduate Training Programme is purpose-designed to build real-world skills, such as project management and negotiation, onto the academic knowledge you&rsquove acquired at university. We&rsquoll also help you to qualify for accreditation to the professional institute that&rsquos relevant to your chosen discipline.
Graduate training programme
We take your professional and personal development seriously. On joining us, you will be entered onto one of the graduate training programmes within our GUIDE scheme. These are accredited by many of the professional institutions, including ICE, CIBSE, ILT, IET, CIWEM and IMechE, with other schemes also recognised and supported.
The GUIDE scheme is based on the specific requirements of the relevant institutions and designed to give you a thorough grounding in your chosen discipline. A mentor with a keen grasp of the process will be appointed to help you achieve the relevant qualification level. You&rsquoll be expected to work towards the required standard of your particular institution to achieve chartership or full membership within five years, or earlier if you have a masters degree.
To join Faber Maunsell and be accepted onto our graduate training programme, you must have obtained a recognised and acceptable qualification in a relevant discipline.
